Seven Lakes resident, Anna Mary Page, recently had the opportunity to be in a commercial for the USGA. The commercial promoting the USGA membership was aired during the US Women’s Open and again during the US Men Open. Anna attends Sandhills Community College Continuing education program. She’s a member of Special Olympics, where she enjoys the challenges of golf. She was able to represent North Carolina in the North America Games in Seattle, WA, taken the bronze metal. Anna has also received the gold medals in bowling, bocce, track and field. She presently is learning to swim at the Seven…

Seven Lakes News was informed on July 1, 2022  from the Buyer’s, the Hicks family of the sales transaction whereby they purchased the Seven Lakes Health & Fitness Center.   Change of ownership was to occur on August 1st.  Consequently our news center was asked to do a feature article and advertising on the sale which appeared in last week’s newsletter.  We were informed early this week that the transaction wasn’t consummated and the article and ads were retracted and removed from this upcoming edition of the Seven Lakes News.

This is my second year doing water aerobics at the pool on the Northside and it’s amazing. Our ‘leader’ “Julia or ‘instructor’ does not get paid for what she does!  She comes everyday, brings her smile, music and great attitude, even in the rain!!   Yes, we have had water aerobics in the rain! Monday through Friday. On Tuesdays and Fridays, we have noodle day, and do water aerobics with our pool noodles…. We do some with the noodles in the air as rainbows.
