The Sophisticated Ladies won the Gold Medal Friday, September 22, 2023, at the NC State Senior Games in the Silver Arts Large Dance Group category at the Cary Arts Center in Cary, NC.
The senior women’s dance troupe performed a NYC Rockette style routine to the song, “If My Friends Could See Me Now” from the Broadway musical, Sweet Charity. This win marks the Sophisticated Ladies successful return to competition that resulted in several gold and silver medals at the local and state levels over the last 30 years.
