Beverly Gentry,a long time resident of Seven Lakes and local Real Estate Broker with Coldwell Banker, decided to purchase golf balls again this year for the annual helicopter drop held at the Lakehouse Bar & Grille to support the Wall Of Honor.
Beverly has been an avid supporter of the Wall since its inception in 2021.Little did she know when I saw her at the drop zone, that her ball # 301 would be the winner out of over 600 balls purchased from the community.
When I called her to let her know she wonshe exclaimed “I know I just looked at my numbers.”“When I asked her where we could meet so I can give you your check, she replied not necessary I want to give it all back to support our Veterans and the Wall Of Honor.”
