A local family lost their pet tortoise Frank, who originally went missing July 8th from the Grethen Pines neighborhood in West End.
Frank, is about 18” long and 40lbs, and owner hatched him from an egg almost 10 years ago.
He has some scratch marks on the front edges on his shell and some scales missing from the fronts of his front legs and is beloved by our kids.
He is a land tortoise, and most likely spotted between the hours of 10am – 1pm and 5-8pm while he forages for food. He has probably dug a burrow somewhere and cannot swim.
We are asking the community to try to help find Frank. Thank you.
