I first got word on a potential water problem by an email from an adjacent property owner on January 3rd.
I forwarded this email to our Planning Director, Ms. Debra Ensminger and asked her to review it. She informed me that the contractor will have to follow all county and state laws regarding storm water management and she would be in contact with the firm in charge of construction.
She also mentioned to me that the existing building, which WOULD HAVE BEEN covered under grandfather protection, was LOST when it was demolished and that the new structure would have to follow the new laws.
