The Avenue Of Flags was a tradition begun in 2018 by Ed Hill of Edward Hill Wealth Management in conjunction with Vikki Levinger, Publisher of the Seven Lakes News. From its humble beginnings to the current number of over 180 flags which are proudly displayed on holidays and line Seven Lakes Drive.
It’s no small feat to line up and take down the flags every year on holidays without local residents and business owners like Sam Ransdell of Burney Hardware, and other businessesto numerous to mention and non profit organizations like the Kiwanis club and many other volunteers led by Ed Hill. On Veterans Day weekend beginning in 2021 and will continue this year, the flags will be displayed and lined up on MacDougall Drive on the way to the ceremony for the Wall Of Honor on November 12th this year.
