The Seven Lakes Golf Club was transformed into a nightclub reminiscent of the Copacabanafrom years gone by on Valentine’s weekend holding a dinner dance benefitting the Veterans Wall Of Honor.
It was a very entertaining evening at the sold out Valentine’s Dinner Dance sponsored by the Seven Lakes News and held at the Golf Club.All the ladies received a rose upon entering the Valentines decorated venue and then headed with husband‘s and boyfriends in“tow“ to the photo booth.
Everyone had a blast and enjoyed a fantastic dinner of Prime Rib, Salmon and Chicken Cordon Bleu listening to the sweet sounds of King Curtiss before heading to the dance floor.
Special guest Mick McKenna, stand up comedian from Raleigh‘s comedy club performed after dinner and then it was on to the dance floor complete with lighted balloons on the ceiling and spectacularlight show provided by King Curtiss..
The dance floor was filled to capacity all night long with the Beach and Oldies tunes provided by the King Of Beach Music, the one and only King Curtiss, of STAR 102.5 FM, Beach Club.
Guests also had free photos taken at the photo booth donated by the Sarlo family owners of Silly Hopper.
Winners of the dance contest chosen by Lisa Mace, owner of L Mace Dance Studios were Patty Cleary and Ed Tutoncutting the rug doing the Twist.
