On December 13th, the Moore County Board of Education voted to transition from masks required to masks optional for all students, staff and visitors while on school grounds effective immediately. Masks will continue to be required while on school buses and activity buses.
For those with concerns about in-person instruction under masks optional protocols, we are reopening the application for enrollment into the Connect! Virtual Academy for the second semester of this school year beginning Tuesday, December 14 through December 20, 2021. Those enrolled in the Connect! Academy for the second semester who desire to return to in-person instruction may also request that through December 20, 2021. Please visit cva.ncmcs.org for more information.
