As Ragtime Cowboy Joe‘s lyrics would suggest, there‘s definitely a new sheriff in town, and it is “Grill Me Up“ a new actual gourmet cuisine food truck owned an operated by Jim Ostrander.
Jim is good friends with Ed Hill of Edward Hill Investments and they both worked at Chef Warren‘s Bistro in Southern Pines.
This was before Ed began to follow in the footsteps of Warren Buffett.
Ed grabbed an apron and helped his friend with the premiere opening of “Grill Me Up“ at Barron‘s Boutique a few weekends ago.
It was a big hit with the locals here in Seven Lakes.
Jim was formerly an executive Chef at the Ritz-Carlton in Los Angeles.
If you‘re looking for hot dogs you‘ve come to the wrong food truck.
Jim offers gourmet fare from Bison Burgers, Crabcake Sandwiches to Banh Mi Burgers (pork style straight out of the old Saigon), to Cheese Fries, and Soup Du Jour.
You can order an Arnold Palmer to quench your thirst.
Condé Nast magazine would give Jim‘s “Grill Me Up“ 5 Stars if they reviewed food trucks.
