A great big welcome to all of our 2021 new members. The Club is much stronger with you!!
Tuesday’s meeting of the Seven Lakes Kiwanis Club was a celebration of New Members who have joined our merry and active band since our Covid-altered year began last March. Unlike most other clubs in our region, we have grown over the past 14+ months and we officially brought the Newbies into the fold and got to know them better on Tuesday.
Each new folk gave us a short personal introduction and shared a bit about what will make them really good Kiwanians on behalf of our area children. It’s also a chance to see the growth in numbers of female members in our club, a fact that should make us a stronger, more viable group.
Our District Membership Chair, Mary Winfree, and our Lt. Governor, Curtis Richie were also on hand to welcome our newcomers.
Thanks to Buddy Spong for the suggestion of inducting all of our new members at a our first live meeting in over a year, plus Buddy was a major player in bringing in the new members in 2021. A great “live” restart to Kiwanis Service.
NEW MEMBERS Jody Beene, Ann Spong, Linda Donnell, Jane Leechford, Matthew Tuttle, Lois Riggins, Bill Medlin, Rahnelle Rosado, and Frank Blue
